Nok Air leads campaign to help children waiting for heart surgery

     Nok Air's campaign to address social disparity by creating opportunities, particularly in the form of children development, has gone from strength to strength, for over five years.

     The budget airline's social oriented activities come under four areas in the themes of Nok Sharing; Nok Learning; Nok Visionary and Nok Delights.
 
     This year has continued with the Nok Sharing campaign by helping children with heart defects await surgery through the “Nok Give Life: 400. “

     The budget airline is urging the public to join in this good cause by purchasing "Nok Give Life:400" key rings at Nok Air's airport offices and onboard Nok Air flights by December 31, 2018.

     The proceeds from the sales, after deducting expenses, go to the Cardiac Children Foundation of Thailand under the Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana.

     Nok Gives Life project has been in existence for over 13 years, and with collaboration with donors, helped over 500 under-privileged babies and children so far, according to Charaspan Srisawadi, Vice President for Corporate Image and Communication at Nok Air.

     "Love is all about giving. We pass on your love (by buying key rings) into life giving (to the needy children)," she added.
