The Whispering’ painting may sound familiar since it is the symbol of Nan, the city full of romance. The romantic legendary of Man Grandma and Grandpa at Wat Phumin includes the famous painting of ‘The Whispering’ and other significant wall paintings. Travelling in Nan, you can make merit everywhere since the temples locate next to another. Those include Wat Phra That Chang Kam Worawihan, located few steps from Wat Ming Muang and Wat Hua Khuang. For those whose Chinese astrological year is rabbit, Wat Phra That Chae Hang is the sacred place ones must visit. Apart from the sacred sight, Nan is also famous for the fog sea at Doi Smer Dao. In February, the rare ‘Chom Phu Phu Kha’ flowers will bloom only at Doi Phu Kha. Wat phra that chaehang

The historical traces of this religious glory makes Nan among the cities known as the “sen tang boon”, or merit-filled route. It is reflected in Wat Beung Planchai, a third-class royal temple dating more than 1,000 years.

Wat Phumin

Wat Burapa Phiram is a third-class royal temple that features the tallest statue of the Buddha bestowing his blessings in Thailand. The Buddha image is 59.2 metres tall and if the base is included, it would be 67.85 metres tall.
