Khelang Nakhon, or more commonly known as the province of Lampang, is a center for Thai Lanna culture, both in terms of the traditions that have been passed down from generations and the temples and local architecture. It also boasts great food and a simple lifestyle, creating a uniqueness for Lampang that stands out from the rest. Lampang also provides unique experiences for travelers, such as the Thai Elephant Conservation Center which allows visitors to bond with the elephants. Tourists can also take in the nature around a large concrete dam, the Kew Lom Dam.
